Can we copy knoppix cd to HDD & boot using a batch file

Hi all,

I am a new user to knoppix & I have a question that, can I copy my Knoppix cd to my HDD (FAT 32) & boot with knoppix by changing the autoexec.bat file in windows ? (I thought that because Knoppix boots from CD rom using a batch file. So why can't we use an autoexec,bat file to boot it ) Please someone help me with my question.
