I have CRT 800x600 display and knoppix lefts big black strips on the right and left sides of the display. The same situation was with default Windows XP setting, but changing to 56 Hz solved this problem in Windows XP.

In Knoppix I tried fb=vesa, fb800x600, screen=800x600, noddc, vga=normal,788,789; and no further opportunity to stretch the screen.

Tried vsync=50 …56 ... 57…, next screen was multiplied.

I use integrated video in AsRock K7S41GX mobo.

Any additional ideas???
