When I boot from my Knoppix 3.8.1 CD on my Aptiva 2153-E3N it doesn't detect my 3c509b ISA ethernet card or the onboard Crystal CS4235-KQ sound chip. The motherboard is an ALi v70ma with onboard ATI Rage Pro but bypassed when I installed the Riva TNT2 M64 PCI card (no AGP slot). There is no more PCI slot for the PCI ethernet card. The previous version of Knoppix 3.7 detected both but only with the 2.4 kernel option. Is there any way to get both to work with the 2.6 kernel?
