Matt, I think this is both possible and rather important (more Kudos for Knoppix!): unfortunately I've not got the time to do it, but can I suggest that you post it under Customising & Remastering where people with the knowledge and time are most likely to see it? (What's this, a Moderator suggesting a double post?).
