no sound with terratec dmx 6fire

is it possible to get sound with a terratec dmx 6fire and knoppix?
i dont have sound after booting knoppix, but in other forums i can read, that there is a possibility to get sound with linux (knoppix?) and this soundcard.

Hi,

strange... I have the DMX fire 1024 and I can hear perfectly the sound... Knoppix recognized tre card right away. It is well supported by al Linux distros...
