I just got Knoppix 3.8 installed on my HD and was wondering - is there any way to default the login as root? or give a user root permissions? I keep forgetting to be logged in as root when I install things and of course am having a lot of failed attempts.. too used to the windows way of doing thingss I'm assuming. If someone could point me in the right direction, I'd be much obliged.
