I am totally new to Linux and to be honest am finding it a bit of a mission to do a lot that I want to do. Problem is I have a Terratec DMX 6 Fire soundcard and havent got the first clue how to set it up. Ive tried searching but the few things I do find just baffle me. I want to fuck off Windows but im not a programmer and dont intend to be! If anyone could help me set up my card it would be greatly appreciated. Go easy please, im fragile.

Im running Knoppix v.3.7 by the way.
