Help installing vmware in knoppix

I installed VMWAARE, when I try to configure it with vmware-config, I can never get it to work!
I';m using a HD install of knoppix 3.8.1, trying to install vmware 5.0. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Please help me!

Using 2.6.x kernel build system.

You might need the full kernel sources. Download them from kernel.org, then go to my linuxtips site for info on how to uncompress them.
