FLASH DRIVE Problem!

Hello guys ,
my HD is dead completely and i just got from a friend knoppix 3.2 which is working fine from the cd drive..but i have this problem :
I cannot store anything so i got this flash drive today which is compatible with it. But when i want to save something in it i cannot. i can read from the usb even play music..bla bla bla ..

What do i do wrong.. i really need to finish badly my fianl year project plz help me

To protect you Knoppix starts all of your drives as read only. To change this right click on the icon of the drive and then click on something like "Chande to Read/Write".
