hi.

i just installed knoppix 3.6 on hd (8GB hd, cpu 133Mhz, 16MB memory) but computer halt during boot process with last line RAMDISK: Compressed image fount at block 0? Is there any way to fix this problem? (i suppose that problem occur because small amount of memory, but i'm not sure - swap partion size is 1GB). previously i got slackware 7.0 installed on this machine (which worked fine, even in graphic mode).

The message is ok. the machine found the block 0. Probably it´ s the low memory.
maybe you try it with creating a swap partition in advance. Activate with swapon on bootprompt. Or do a swapfile at bootprompt with mkswap. If it´s not working try Damnsmallinux.
