I have tried few times the installation of the knoppix 3.8.1 on my Laptop Toshiba Satellite Pro 4200.

Installin into hda5

Partition prepared with ext3 and then installed with the knoppix-installer.

All looks normal, the question whre LILO goes answered with bootpartition. On the screen it seems that the lolo was written to the hda5, also the floppy was 'written', but nothing found on it later, nor it was possible to boot from that floppy.
File lilo.conf found on the usual place.

All works on the same partition with knoppix 3.6 and 3.7, lilo installed and floppy correctly created.

Any ideas?
