i used knoppix 3.7 (kernel 2.4) as hdd install and everything worked fine. now i am trying to get knoppix 3.82 to work. i made a hdd install and everything works ok, but if i start a larger download, knoppix freezes and i have to use the reset button. this happens only during higher network traffic.

any suggestions?
