Boot w Sata
I am trying to boot. 8.1.2 on a new machine. The machine has sata drives and a ide cdrom. The machine boots and gets into the isolinux kernel.
It then gets lost when it looks for \KNOPPIX. The cdrom is a Sony crx216E (CD-RW). It appears the hardware search causes the boot kernel to lose track of the cdrom.
I have encountered the same problem with SLAX.
Any clues?
