The fact that knoppix doesn't automatically configure any ZIP drives that it finds seems rather odd. It configures floppies after all.
To get ZIP disks mounted includes a whole host of hoops that must be jumped through including editing the /etc/fstab. Since knoppix builds this on the fly anyway, I think it would be great (and a lot easier to use by newbies, by the way) if it included this option.
If ZIPs are a problem, a nozip option could always be included with the cheat-codes.
