I sure know how to get to the BIOS and shut off the PnP. But there was a occasion when I did that to a machine using Win95; it went nuts and had started 'finding' things all in the wrong places. There was a cascade failure of the OS and I had to reformat to get past it. =:0

I might try a cheatcode if I knew where to find one that would help Knoppix run, all I really want to do is see what it looks like and how things workon a basic level ( no pun intended )
