IEEE 1394 found and then not found ...
I have been using Knoppix 3.7 from CD with the system happily finding and mounting firewire devices connected to an IEEE 1394 card.
I then installed to the HDD and firewire is nolonger recognised (not even in the appropriate section in 'Info Center'). That's bizarre, isn't it?
Is there something that I need to 'switch on' or enable in the HDD setup in order to get this working?
