as I allready posted in here (http://www.knoppix.net/forum/viewtop...ghlight=usb+hd)
I've got some probs with a USB-device.

Passing on to KNX3.9 was only of little success. The device is now recongnized correctly in USB Viewer:

"USB TO IDE"

It's an adapter to connect IDE-devices to USB-port. Pretty much the same as in every external USB-storagedevice, concerning the adapter-hardware.

A difference to my USB-Flash drive is, that no icon pops up on my desktop. aving the device plugged in on bootup dosn't change a thing, too.

Mounting by hand brings up this:

root@0[knoppix]# mount -rw /dev/uba1 /mnt/uba1
mount: Kein Medium gefunden (no media detected - translated)
root@0[knoppix]#


Any ideas at this point?
