I am using Knoppix with a Sony Vaio Laptop, model PCG-Z505LEK. I am also using the (apparently) PCMCIA cdrom drive, model PCGA-CD51/A.

knoppix atapicd ide2=0x180,0x386 nopcmcia noapm
