I need to use Knoppix on a machine at work, I can't make any changes to the hard drive. I have been using V3.3 saving the config files on a floppy. Newer versions haven't worked until 3.8.2. But when rebooting iit will not load the config files from the floppy. I have tried every cheatcode variation, sometimes it won't even try to scan the floppy, another error messaage says config dir must start with /dev, /mnt, or scan, another time it will say filesystem not autostarted, trying with aes encryption and asks for a 20 digit password. Any ideas?
