Problem by installing FreePascal

I've tried to install fpc2.0 (or fpc1.0) on KNOPPIX with
dpkg -i fpc-units-rtl.deb
dpkg -i fpc-compiler.deb

But when I enter "fpc", it comes "Error: /ramdisk/usr/bin/ppc386 can't be executed; error message: Failed to /ramdisk/usr/bin/ppc386: -11".

How can I get rid off this error? I've administrator permission and have uses "chmod a+x ppc386". But I get always the same error message.

I've even tried a tar version with "install.sh".

Could someone tell me, how to install fpc on KNOPPIX sucessfully?

I've solved it by myself.
I think it's a conflict between knoppix 3.8 (cebit) and fpc.
I'm using knoppix 3.9.
