Weird
Just changed the USB port and the thing burst into life!
I'm trying to get my printer to work using 3.9 on a live disk. So far I have discovered that the printer has been detected on the usb port using usbview, but it is highlighted in red.
I have tried setting it up via kde print as in the FAQ, but when I try to print there is an error and the status window says under printer-status-message: "unable to open usb device "usb:/dev/usb/lp0": no such device.
When I look in the /dev/usb/ and ls -l it it shows that there is a listing there for lp0. How can I get the printer recognized so that the thing works!
