ppmtolss prob

another one um im trying to change my boot logo and im made a 16 color image 640x400 saved as bmp used bmptoppm and that worked but when i do a ppmtolss16 <logo16.ppm >logo.16 i get
/usr/bin/ppmtolss16: stdin is not a raw PPM file at /usr/bin/ppmtolss16 line 107, <STDIN> line 1.
ne clues or should i not ise bmptoppm

Try bmptopnm then ppmtolss16 instead.

when i do what the link said the 1st time (which is y i am writing questions) is because that works but when i put the logo.16 in the correct dir and make the cd no logo displays on boot just blank. also after i make the ppm should it look like the origional when viewed with kview cuz myne is all displaced different nd stuff.
