i can boot knoppix into kde just fine.
i saved a persistant disk image onto a local hdd and rebooted.
when i boot with knoppix myconfig=scan, it asks me if i want to load the persistant config.
i've tried ticking and unticking the 'update configuration' box to no avail.
when it boots with my persistant config i get a grey screen with an x cursor.
if i contrl-alt-backspace it i see the error stating that knoppix could find no x server for my card.
very strange. i'd really love to use the persistant home dir.
any advice?
