I grabed this great distro the other day. Ran if from the cd, all my devices ran fine absolute O configuration. It setup my network and even mounted my windows partitions.

I thought great!! I want this on my HDD. It has an installer on the desktop but when i activated it its in some forign language, everything else is in english, but no prob i partitioned a drive and got through the install. Using lilo to control boot all good BUT heres the prob .... the HDD install is not the same as the cd one. eg network was not setup win drives were not mounted look and feel was different.

Why is this and how can i make it the same experiance that i get from the cd but booting from the hard drive???

I am a linux noob, i can't do much from the command prompt but i can follow instructions. i tried to boot from the iso on my hdd but it didnt work
