Hi

My network card works fine with the Live DVD but since i have installed to hdd i cannot get a network connection. I am using a "rhine" network card on my notebook and trying the gui app networking to set up networking. As soon as i hit apply the networking setup app just hangs.

I have tried "ifconfig eth0 192.168.1.100" and "route add default gw 192.168.1.254" which is correct but i cannot ping the outside nor my network. My named is fine as well.

Any ideas ?
