Another reason is that i like to play around with building my own tools (partition morpher is nearing a usable state). However, i second this, as if this wasn't based on QT i'd have included it weeks ago. Maybe you could team up with Christian (from knx-hdinstall), and make a version of knx-hdinstall that uses qtparted?
