I'd like to see a knoppix variant that would boot into a single purpose server that would serve up the local disks with ATAOE (ATA over ethernet) -

This'd be a great way to utilize an old system as an ATAOE server, throw in a disk, set it to boot from a knoppix ATAOE cdrom and away you go.

Just thinking out loud.
