Nein, die Hardware ist nicht ausreichend für Knoppix. Bei eBay gibt es für relativ wenig Geld gebrauchte PIII-Rechner (Leasingrückläufer von FSC, Maxdata, HP, IBM usw.). Ein PIII ab 500 MHz/128 MB reicht für's Surfen und MP3-Hören allemal.

So, ich bin ein völliger Noob in Sachen Linux - Knoopix. Habe es jetzt laufen, und bin im Netz unterwegs. Ich muss sagen, das Programm gefällt mir sehr sehr gut. Schön, übersichtlich und schnell *g*
Jetzt zu meiner Frage: Macht es Sinn, Knoppix auf meinen alten IBM 120 Mhz rechner zu machen *auf HDD zu machen* um einfach und lustig im Netz zu Surfen, MP3´s zu hören und eben nur im Forum, Chat und HP machen. Denn das Teil hat glaub ich 16 SD Ram, 2,1 GB HDD SCSI und eine ATI unknow GK ^^
