Howdy all. I download the new Knoppix 4.0 DVD to give things a look over. I'm pleased.

A few hardware configuration issues I was wondering if anyone has worked out.

Sound appears like it should be working, but no actual audio is produced. This occurs with all flavors of linux. Does anyone have any ideas?

Screen resolution is natively 1280x768. Despite cheatcodes and messing around w/ X11, it looks like I'm forced to run at 1024x768. Any thoughts on this?

Those are the only issues. Wireless and eth0 work without any problems, Bluetooth works And things run reasonably.

Intel Pentium M Processor 753 w/ 512mb of ram
Video Chipset Intel 855GME 64mb shared
Soundmax integrated digital audio - knoppix and ubuntu try using the intel 810 audio snd module.
