    OK. But now you will be changing two variables at once: the Knoppix version (with a different kernel) and the burn speed. I'd recommend you change one, then the other, and then both. Otherwise you won't know if the success or failure is due to which change.

    In any case, let us know what you do and what you discover.

    HELP

    If your PC can't boot from the CD-Rom, what specific steps do you have to carry out to obtain a set of boot diskettes?
