My sound card has digital ouput (SPDF out). It works fine under debian sarge. How do I get this to work in Knoppix?

After the hd install, file sharing (NFS) stops working. I can only share root folders. I get a "make sure filesharingset is set uid root" or something like that when I try to share my home folders....

Any ideas?
