New Kernel: Udev DevFS
Hallo everyone,
here is a big problem. After remastering a knoppix 3.9 CD to my hardddrive, i booted it and compiled a new kernel: 2.6.13
After some searching and so on, I could install the cloop module, but now there's something more wrong:
2.6.13 nomore supports devfs - BUT knoppix uses it. So i would have to switch to udev. But how? There is a source for udev to compile, but nothing is put into the kernel, right?
And what do i have to do, that knoppix uses udev instead of devfs??
Any suggestions?
