knoppix problems

hi
i installed knoppix 3.8 on my hd today, and everything was okay until i configured my network card. at the next reboot knoppix didnt load again. after logging in it initialized something and then stopped. i can start the console, but i have no idea how to use it.
i hope somebody is able to help me. (maybe in german)

Sounds like something didn't install properly, you may have to re-install.
To get from the console to the window manager (kde) log in at the console screen & type 'startx' or 'kdm'.
