I have a Gigabyte GA-8AENXP-D, and I have hard drives setup on all of the SATA Channels. The SIL 3114 has 1 RAID Volume and the ICH6 has 2 SATA, but non-RAID Volumes. I'd like to install Knoppix. Honestly, I don't care which hard drive or volume gets Knoppix installed, I'd just like it to be possible. Any ideas of how I can get Knoppix to see any of my SATA drives after booting?

I also have to boot to the DVD or CD using my USB Plextor PX-716A in a USB case. My internal PX-716SA isn't recognized after Knoppix begins to boot.

Any help would rock.

Are any other distros (live or not) good at auto-configuring SATA/RAID yet?
