can't see my onboard nic

Hello, Im having problems getting knoppix to recognize my onboard NIC. It says it can't be found. My HW is in my signature, it's an nforce2 mobo.

Hello, Im having problems getting knoppix to recognize my onboard NIC. It says it can't be found. My HW is in my signature, it's an nforce2 mobo.

Some questions:
- What version of Knoppix are you using?
- Can you run the following code as root and post the contents of the post.txt file:

( set -x
lspci
lsmod
ifconfig -a
) >& post.txt

Thanks for the welcome and i do plan on becoming an active member Ive given up on trying to get the onboard lan to work and tossed in a pci nic card and it picked it up right away
