hi

im a newbie to linux. i have been using knoppix 4.0.2. i have not been able to connect to my 512k adsl connection. i have Tecom modem. i try using the adsl/pppoe configuration but that does not really seem to work. i wish someone cud help me with this.

also i have another question: i have made an image of the knoppix cd on my hard disk. but even then i need the cd to get uptill the boot prompt where i specify "fromhd". is there anyway i can run knoppix directly out of the harddisk without havin to insert the cd in first.
