Problem changing keyboard setting

Hi,
I have just started using Knoppix 4.02 from dvd.

Every seems fine until I try to change the keyboard setup from US to UK.

My pc crashes, I tried the dvd on two different pc's and exactly the same happens.

I'd like to replicate your results. How are you changing the keyboard setup from US to UK? Are you doing it at boot-time or within KDE or some other way?

My pc crashes, I tried the dvd on two different pc's and exactly the same happens.

How does it crash? Does the PC suddenly shut off? Does the screen go blank? Do you get a kernel panic?
