    copy knoppix.img

    It's posible to use knoppix.img in over computers?
    If I "Create persistent KNOPPIX home directory" apt-get install some packet and copy knoppix.img to over computer ?
    It's work?

    Yes, it works quite well. In fact, a common way to use the persistent disk image (PDI) is to put it on a USB stick or external harddrive. That way you can go to another computer, boot with the CD and PDI, and have the exact same seetup. I've used that method quite often myself.

    Give it a try and be sure to let us know how it works for you.

    1. After WinXP crash I remember abaut demolinux.org that use few years ago. But I thing demolinux is dead project. When I ask newsnet about LiveCD linux all reply knnopix. And I here.

    4. At home: Celeron 850 SDRAM 416 HDD 8Gb
    5. Win98 (because my hardware TVtuner and Sound work much beter).
    6. Abaut 11 years, I am sysadmin at work
    7. Yes Redhat, Fedora, Dragon Linux, BBC, Demolinux, Cygwin, ... but not for long. My best Debian it work as server for now.
    8. I want to use it at home as multimedia disc to see films, TV and music.
    9. I never write wiki But some times I find help on wiki contents. It's very good idea.

    I known that PDI work with USB Disc. But I have only USB card reader with MMC card. Maybe it posible to use?
    For now I use DVD-RW.
    After copy PDI to over destination need to check img.
    e2fsck knoppix.img else it's not work.

    I have no Internet connection at home that way I do it.
