I want to do the following:
1. boot the dvd with tohd=/dev/hdb2
2. boot with fromhd=/dev/hdb2
3. compile new kernel with no changes except processor=pentiumIII
4. make boot floppies
5. copy new kernel to boot floppy
6. boot from floppys
7. modify hd boot code so that computer boots fromhd with new kernel without dvd.

Is this possible?
If so, howto?
