Knoppix using GRUB as bootloader

I was wondering when will knoppix dump lilo alltogether

GRUB definitelly is a better bootloader than lilo

Kanotix uses GRUB

What are the technical reasons why knoppix keeps lilo as its default bootloader?

Knoppix is a live CD. I'm unaware of any issue when using Knoppix as a live CD that would cause Klaus to make any change. Maybe there is, but what that would be is not clear from youir post. Klaus do not make changes to Knoppix based of issues involved in trying to install Knoppix to a hard disk, a choice that I think is wise.
