KDE header files???

I tried to install some utilities via ./configure,make,makeinstall method and after
./configure I got the error

checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

Can anyone tell me which prefix should i use???

Google for this. I tried quickly, and this is a common error, apparently, on Knoppix. This is a specialized forum in any case, and the regulars have by their own statements abandoned the HD install thread, so you need to use google if no answer here. Another suggestion is to try Kanotix, since you can get help on that forum.

One hit implied a -prefix option for the configure command involving compile set up.
