making a boot cd instead of floppy? can it be done and how?
can this be done i tossed out my flop to make way for a hd a while back and i dont really see the need for it anymore.
im going to try the install as i did with kanotix. grub is just giving me to many problems and i cant seem to get a boot no matter what i try with the install and mbr. so im thinking would it be possible to have a boot cd and have the install on a part?
also can you install to a thumb drive say something like a 1 gig drive and just plug it in when you want to run linux. girlfriend just doesnt get it that we dont need M$.
thanx
Anthony
