I'm looking for a way to automate installing applets into my panel. I boot with myconfig=scan but the applets, kweather and quicklauncher, don't get reinstalled automatically. Each time after I boot I have to manually reinsert them into the panel.

I'm looking for one of two ways to semi automate this task. First is there a command line script that I can put together to accomplish this?

Second, thinking back to the old windows 3.11 days there was the ability to record a macro which consisted of a sequence of mouse cursor movements and clicks. Later when you wanted to repeate the sequence you just clicked one time to run the macro. Does KDE/Konqueror have this macro capability?
