I've recently installed drivers (version 8.20.8 ) for my ati radeon 9250 card (all modules were loaded properly), however after configuring XF86Config-4 xserver starts but 3d grafic is not supported properly (glxgears 78 FPS while on gforce2 1350 FPS ). In the xserver log I found those lines:

my kernel version is 2.6.11-4 Xfree 4.3.1. any ideas or similar problem?
maybe changing from xfree to xorg would help ??
