I get an memory access error (Speicherzugriffsfehler) on bootup-process:

Firewire found, managed by hotplug: (Re-)scanning firewire devices... Done.
Speicherzugriffsfehler
Please check.
Video is (yet) ....

The process continues after that error but there is no networking configured.
Trying to load the via-rhine module manually don't work.
I also tried some knoppix-cheats without success.
Knoppix 3.9 works perfect, but I need an actual OpenOffice.
