Making f2,f3 screens and testing them without burning them

hi guyz
Iam doing reamstering of knoppix 3.8.2 in hindi. I want to change the f2 and f3 help screens. Iam making them with the help of TETRADRAW and iam finding it little difficult to built f2 and f3 with this software. Is there any other way of changing f2 and f3. Also everytime i do changes in f2 and f3, i have to check them by burning the iso on the cd. Is there any other way of testing the changes as i have used a lot of cds for this purpose only.

No need to burn a CD - just use Qemu which is included in Knoppix:

$ qemu -cdrom /mnt/location_where_iso_file_is/KNOPPIX-CUSTOM.iso

If you are using menu based scripts as mentioned in
HOWTO: Remaster KNOPPIX the easy way using menu based remaster scripts.
just choose: 3. Create isofs

No need to make a new compressed filesystem. Be sure you have also dma enabled by knoppix-dma for ide devices. It makes making isofs many times faster as without it.
