Making Window Pgrms to work
How do i use some of the programs i already had on my widows computer, i know some wonte work but think some will
I have these programs i want to work let me know if you have any way to make them work.

Ventrilo
AOL
AutoGK
IE
Winamp
thats just a few id like to know ways to make programs work with linux
i also needs hint on how to use this OS hah =P

Nein, derzeit gibt es Trillian nur für Windows. Unter Linux gibt es die Möglichkeit, das Crossover Plugin zu verwenden, das auf einer angepassten Version des Windows-Emulators Wine beruht. Nähere Informationen dazu bei Codeweavers: Crossover Trillian. Einen Erfahrungsbericht gibt es hier.

Yeah i dont even know why i put ie, ie is pretty gay, i usualy use Firefox or Opera.

AOL- WHY?
Opera for unix/liux is in development
IE- Microsoft rubbish
Winamp- Kicks the lamas a** however better programss on the Cd/DVD as The_Patient says

i downloaded the linux version of opera but when it was done i tried opening it and it never did.

Ok, i've looked for the Opera-installation. There is no support for Knoppix.
So you can only use Firefox for Linux or you can try the Debian-version of Opera.
