in really into retro consoles and would love to make a knoppix cd for the dreamcast has anyone tryed it ?

The dreamcast uses a superh sh4 processor. It's architecture is completely different from the intel x86 architecture that is used on common PCs. The knoppix would have to be 100% recompiled for to meet the target architecture of the dreamcast. See GNU/Linux on SuperH Project
