Disk error

I have a laptop running windows XP (ntfs) and the harddrive has disk errors


I have booted on a knoppix 4 live cd

fsck -p /dev/hda1 gives error: fsck.ntfs: not found


On the knoppix.org site is says "utilities for data recovery and system repairs, even for other operating systems"

But what are they called and how do i use them?

Pretty new into Knoppix, but i hope that you guys can give me some advise on how to repair my disk!?

At a command line: apropos ntfs

Then: man utility_name

So thats all the utilities for ntfs? Thats not much, but it was easy to find them, thank you!
