Gnome Boot

Is it possible to boot in gnome, or is gnome not even on the disk;

I have gnoppix but it isn't the same...

I saw a screen shot here "restarting x server in gnome"

So I was wondering if you could like "boot" in gnome by typing like "knoppix gnome" or something like that.

Knoppix CD does not have GNOME.
Knoppix DVD has GNOME. Boot with the cheatcode: knoppix desktop=gnome
